Getting you updated

IT's officially been decided by Mr. Wayne, I mean Bruce, and Diana as well as my mom (though not as much) that I'll be homeschooled via the web. I'm taking up a permanent position at TitansTower and will have two hours a night set aside for homeschooling. Not so bad, I could be going to school for six hours a day, but it also means I won't see my friend, Chris, Camille, Karen, well... Karen I'll see but. ya.

my room got finished while I was away, I had worked on the ottomans and finished them off before I left for Themyscira, and Victor finished my walls off for me and the trim while I was away so last night I put my posters up and I put the few pictures I have up. I still need to buy a dresser and a desk and a bookcase but right now everything is livable. (Victor, Rachel and I are supposed to go out tonight to buy those)

In any event, I promised to tell you about my first Titans Fight about ten days ago. I met Red X. Oh ya, my first fight with one of the BIG LEAGUERS.

We got our butts handed to us pretty well off on the get go.

Somehow I managed to get half hog tied, opposite arm tied to my ankle, trying to do a balancing act that was failing miserably until Victor caught me and cut the ties. Kory got tossed off the side of a building and Gar had to catch her but they got stuck ont he roof by some sort of red past. Raven caught Red in a corner for about five seconds until he managed to slap a red X on her mouth. Robin, Cyborg, and I were still chasing after him while Raven tried to help Beast Boy and Starfire.

Red caught me off guard in an alley when we split up to look for him and I nearly got canned (I mean this literally. I was right infront of a garbage can.) He tried to slap an X on my mouth so I couldn't call out to any of the Gods but I managed to do one of the twists Robin had showed me, wrap my hand around his wrist, he slapped the X on my shoulder, which BURNED. I called out to Zeus as I slammed X into the wall  behind me and got elctrocuted while I was connected to him. He fell like a sack of potatoes and I had to call on Cyborg and Robin to come get him.

I got the chemical he had stolen off of him and then somehow passed out, (When Cyborg examined the chemical residue on the X and my shoulder he confirmed it was a chemical induced sleep)  I came to when Robin got there and found out X had vanished again :< so not fair. He didn't take the chemical again, I guess he just wanted out of there. So we returned that to the factory and instructed them on how to up their security. Cyborg and I had to go back to the tower, I was to tired to stay awake so he called BumbleBee to the tower to watch out for me while he went back to help Robin get Starfire and Beast Boy separated.

I didn't get to see Bee because I was falling asleep off and on and having a few hallucinations. I know Kor and Gar were separated when I woke up the next day because I stumbled into the kitchen and had the X yanked off of my shoulder by Kory. I swear at least four layers of skin came off with it. Victor and Robin laughed when I had finally finished screaming and Rachel dressed it with some bandages while Kory apologized -.-;

I'm a tad fearful for my health in this environment. There is seriously, NO edible food in the fridge (well, last I checked- which is something I  need to do when we get furniture: get GROCERIES), and I think we're running low on first aid supplies. Oy.

Themyscira news will be in a different journal/blogentry, I need to go out to buy stuff at the mo'. Cyborg driving. Note: never stick cellphone in front of Cy when Driving: he FREAKS. OUT. XD

LATE! New Years resolution

get to this damn blog at least once every two weeks. -.-;

I am SO sorry guys, I got pretty much abducted by Diana the other day before I could say anything. I've spent the last couple of days at Themyscira ... I think I spelt that right.

I met Queen Hippolyta (who was surprisingly welcoming. ... my gender probably helps. Not to mention Diana lording over me like a defenseless egg in her possession -.-; )

Hippolyta believed that I should train (ohhh this is becoming a very common thing with the elder-folk/ more experienced isn't it? Isn't there another word? mentor, learn, be better at- nope, sorry, training and beating your brains out are the only words we know 8D  ... kill me. -.- )

Rough weeks

school got hectic and I finally got into my first fight with the Titans, more detail tomorrow when I'm not working on other things.

Two School projects and a big test I nearly failed.

Dick is still tutoring me xD

Bedroom at Titan tower is still not ready because I'm busy, JLU had a few emergencies , one I had to help with.

Been possessed at least five times in the past few weeks. Need to work on meditation and the like to prevent said possessions.

Bats and Canary expanding to work with J'onn on more training (this time focusing on mentality and psychic things~ whoo yay)

not so much to report school wise other than stated. Chris and I have hung out outside of school a couple of times and Dick and I are still hanging about.

Saw Roy the other day, and Wally came round to take me out last night to a movie which was nice :)

Seeing the Titans this weekend and finishing off my room so I have somewhere to go.

Had a serious thing at school this week, went back to see the family for two days. Taken out of school and just spent time with my siblings who I haven't seen since January <3 Miss the lil tykes.

Snowday #2

ahahaha our school is being suffocated by snow. Dick and I had another day off and AGAIN we were going to go hang out, but Batman called me up to JLU HQ 'no time like the present' 'can't waste a second' and all that jazz. I wish I was capable of tossing HIM around -.-

I was there from 9-10 again until Batman called  a recess and J'onn kidnapped me again, to Bat's Chagrin XD I'm loving Rebellious-J'onn right now <3 I called out a dainty 'My Savior!' as he beamed me down  XD Jump City is a ways away from Gotham so we were out of the snow belt, but I was lucky enough that Robin was waiting to give me a coat because it was still pretty cold D: and J'onn and I had forgotten to grab my coat before we left.

He and I went off to practice ice skating. Which is still REALLY hard. After an hour of managing to fall only a couple times we went back to the Tower. I wanted to work on my room again so Robin and I walked towards my room and when I opened the door all I see is Blue, white, and grey before Cyborg stepped off the ladder and waved.

"I didn't think you'd be home until the weekend" he says. (note he says home d'awww I'm feeling in place now :D )

Basically, he was decalling something over my door. The ENTIRE room is already painted, I guess he suffers from insomnia now and then and tries to work on projects (such as my room) to sleep. So my room is painted, I just have to start decorating it and refurbishing my ottomans. Which I've banished Cyborg from doing because I actually enjoy refurbishing things. xD

we spent the afternoon back at the park mostly. Til I had to go home at 6. after that Dick and I basicalyl sat around at the mansion (we went sledding from the roof into snow banks down below. Talk about extremee @.@ xD ) I got home around 10 and Diana and I have been watching an episode of Doctor Who since :D All in all: nice coupla days

New Bed!

yayyy! My school had a snowday so Dick and I were going to hang out, but plans changed and Batman called me up for an impromptu flexibility training class for an hour. But Black Canary wasn't at HQ so I didn't spar with her or anything, and J'onn was annoyed that Bats made me come  in so he kidnapped me and sent me to Titans Tower after calling Cyborg and making him wait for me xD

In short my snowday went from lazy to busy to lazy and fun :D

My old bed got moved out ( Cyborg is a lot stronger than I was thinking) and we got my new one slapped into the room in the center. Bought some paint and started painting the walls, and we bought two ottomans so far that need to be recovered :) so I'm making up a shopping list so we can go out on the weekend and buy some of the other stuff. My walls are pretty bare too at the moment so I'm going to try to import some weapons I was looking at a while ago to hang up on the wall :) One being a Trident - it. is. SO COOL. <33 There's also a set of tsai I want to get and have Robin teach me to use and a few other weapons of various origins xD

Also: I REALLY like Cyborg ><; He's sooo nice. we went to the mall and Robin suggested I stock up on some shirts and jeans and a few more sandals or shoes that I would wear in fights and keep them at the tower along with some more sheets/pillow/sleeping things. So Cyborg and I went to not only take care of my bed, but to also stock up on those things and everytime I was done paying he would distract me and pick the bags up :< he wouldn't let me carry anything but my bag which had the money in it ><;  I didn't even think guys like that existed anymore D:

in any event, I'm assuming that the stocking up on clothes is Robin's way of saying 'you're going to start fighting with us' so yay? ... I'm gonna get bruises so bad. haha

oh Monday went by really easily, boring and all that jazz but Chris and Camille made me go to the movies with them and we met up with their friend Jason. He's a nice guy and all but I finally realized I was being set up and spent most of the first half of the movie kicking Chris in the shin whenever I turned to talk to Justin. We saw Season of the Witch which was really good, I forgot that Ron Perlman was in it :) Awesome twist to it too :D Two thumbs up.

Jason and I are going to dinner tomorrow, but I don't think anything is really going to happen. He's a nice enough guy, I just don't really like him that way all that much. Bah.

anyways, possibility for school tomorrow so I best get off. If not, I'll probably be working on my room again at the Tower (I think Diana was saying something about transferring me to a school in Jump City once my room is done so that I don't have to keep traveling, kind of hoping and not hoping that happens :/ mixed feelings are not cool )

AHAHAHA Fail.

I fell out of my bed on Saturday.

Not because of anything important, I mean ya the alarms are ... alarming... ;P but they're not THAT bad.

no, I fell out of my bed yesterday because I had the Falling Dream. GODDAMMIT I hate that dream. You don't understand that dream until you've actually BEEN flying and suddenly falling. And believe me, Hermes and I are chummy and all (because I'm named after his friend) but he's still a mischeivious sunovagun and he DEFFINETLY takes advantage of giving me heartattacks at random times >< (in other words I was at about the height of the Eiffel tower before I started falling and only stopped when I was a foot above a Prius -.-; )

please note my bed isn't very high off the floor, but it IS high enough to hurt like a ... witch when you conk your head against the wood floors D: Also: I love my furniture, and though my chair will stick out like a sore thumb, I'm getting rid of my egg bed and putting in a Daybed  with several ottomans in different shapes, all singularly colored and with sepia tones and golden highlights. I'm basically going to just refurnish them all (buying several things secondhand :) ) and I can't WAIT (it means I get to spend another weekend at the Tower rather than at JLU HQ where I'm the only person under 18 T^T )

Even though I'm spending time at the Tower it doesn't mean I'm getting off easy. Robin made me run all of the throws threw AGAIN (twice on Saturday, once on Sunday) and I had to do my flexibility training more than  usual (I'm suddenly more than thankful that BAtman and Canary do my training, they take it pretty slowly). Speedy stopped by Saturday afternoon (he looks darn familiar, and so did BumbleBee, she even had a really familiar looking cast on her leg), and I got to make dinner for everyone. Just a simple Pot roast but apparently they don't have homecooked meals very often. Which I think is weird because I'm fairly certain Robin has gotten lessons in cooking somewhere -coughalfredpennyworthcough- and I'm a pretty rotten cook in comparison to most people.

Sunday went a bit better but I did wake up to alarms. BEast Boy was made to stay behind with me in case something happened at the Tower, and Ares had kind of forced himself into possession at my high anxiety levels. Therefore I had to much energy and so Beast Boy and I made baklava mmm yum <33 melt your teeth into gooey sugary puddles xD We also made a pretty successful Greek Salad that the Team ate when they got back from a mix in with Control Freak :)

So I  basically trained and got to know the Titans more, spending the weekend there was a real treat, and I'd like to think they want me around a bit more. We're watching a movie: Wicked Scary 1 I think, and if there's time we may watch Wicked Scary 2, but apparently Raven isn't allowed to watch them and has to wear ear plugs and read a book? I'm supposed to hear the story in a few moments so I have to go, but ya, this weekend has been nice :) Cyborg offered to go with me sometime during the week to shop for that bed I want to get and to bring pictures of my egg bed with him so that we can find an offering price at a second hand store :) <3 Second hand stores

Seriously: Why is this thing so hard to keep updated?

I forgot to mention that I've had all of this week off intermittenly (It's Exams week -Midterms so the whole High School has off except when they have to come in for midterms) So what was I doing when I wasn't at school?

Dick found my report card in my room and figured out that I'm failing English so he's been standing over me like a damn hawk until I finish all of my reports. He's also been really patient, I'm kind of bad at reading- don't get me wrong I love it, but for one thing: boring books make me slower, and I get tripped up on words really easily. I'm not sure why. We're reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton and it's pretty good but I'm not sure why it's so hard for me to read. Dick suggested I read out loud to see if that helps and somehow it has, so I've been reading to him and it's helping me get used to the words. So that's good.

I feel bad that I'm failing my favorite teachers class D: But I really HATE writing essays. and Poetry. friggin Homer. YES I have to read/hear about Odysseus' events again >< and Helen of Troy and ALL that fun stuff T^T can't I get a BREAK from my relatives?

We're supposed to do something about Herc's Trials soon, I hope so. I need to call that big lug, I haven't seen him in a while....

ANYWAYS. I've been doing the studying and stuff, and also I've been getting a lot better at flexibility, I was pretty flexible to begin with (The blessing of being young as Canary says) and so it's not so bad, I just have to stay on top of it so I continue to be flexible as I get older. Something about joints stiffening I think, at least that was what I heard when I tuned back into what Canary was saying.

So that's pretty much what I've been doing all week, and since I was doing that this week, I've gotten the weekend off! :D Which basically just means I'll be hanging out with the Titans this weekend (...the teen ones, not the - ya -.-; I have to clarify these things). Dick promised to let Raven and Starfire take me shopping for a little while xD I think that means we get a credit card and drag the boys along for company?

I have to get teleported down there in a few. Gods I hate that, it's like having my stomach turned inside out, pulled out my mouth with a crochet needle and stuff back down D: not fun.

I think J'onns enjoying sending me though. I keep yelling 'Beam me up J'onny!" I kind of gets this look like he's going to knock me senseless. EXCEPT this one time (not at band camp) he turned into Scotty, with his shape shifting powers XDD I died. Oh gods it was funny and Bats' and Supes' faces were so funny they got so absolutely confused, oh gorgeous moments on board the JLU HQ xD <3

I'm a tad loopy from lack of sleep, headed to the docks for my weekend out on the town~
